Chmieloon is a cozy cottage nestled under sixty-foot pine trees and on peaceful Spider Lake in Mercer, Wisconsin. Our
northwood's setting is associated with quiet, natural, pristine, crystal-clear water, not overrun with jet ski's and powerboats. This makes it perfect for swimming, fishing and relaxing.

 There are many area attractions as well. Take an ATV ride on Iron County's 500 miles of Trails and see Wisconsin's last wilderness.
Sit outside by the fire at night and watch the hot embers as you feel your stress fade away. The surroundings are so quiet that you can hear people across the lake playing cards at their kitchen table and telling stories about the big fish that got away. The area's abundant wildlife provides many
opportunities to see bald eagles, hummingbirds, and lots of duck families, including loons.
